The whole Speaking sub-test is assessed and recorded. Two trained OET Assessors independently marked The Speaking sub-test. OET Assessors’ judgments are targeted and specific; it is not candidates’ ability a general evaluation in spoken English. Assessors are prepared to focus on how a candidate reacts to the specific task on the test day.
