Ways to register for the IELTS test!
Register online and pay the test fee.
- Log on to the official IDP India website.
- Select the option – “ Register for IELTS”.
- Select your test date and test city (you can see the seat availability status)
- Complete the online application form.
- Pay the test fee using a valid credit card
Once your IELTS registration is complete, you courier a photocopy of your passport’s first and last page and any other observation pages to the future reference. A copy of the confirmation will also be sent in hard copy or to your registered email address. If they fail to do so, candidates won’t be able to write the exam. Candidates need to bring their original passport on test day.
Register in person at an IDP branch or Input Node
You can apply by walking into any IDP branch/head offices or your nearest Input Node. You can register using either of the following methods to register:
Method-1
- Register for the test using an online method on a computer at the office and pay the test fee. You will get an immediate confirmation of your seat which is identical to online registration.
- Submit a photocopy of your passport, the first and last page, and observation pages.
- Submit the duly signed Terms and Conditions document. Do read it properly before handing it over.
- Receive your instant acknowledgement letter that confirms your seat in the test.
Method-2
- Fill out the application form available at the IDP office/Input Node
- Sign the Terms and Conditions document provided with the application form.
- Attach a photocopy of your Passport’s first and last page and observation pages, if any.
- Pay the test fee either by a valid credit/debit/ATM card, or Demand Draft. It should be made at any bank listed in the approved list of banks.
After making the payment, ask the staff at the IDP branch or Input Node to submit your application form in the online registration system. They will also provide you with an acknowledgement slip for your test booking and a tentative seat reservation. Keep in mind that if you paid the fee via bank draft, your seat confirmation will depend on the realization of the draft.
Register by Courier and Pay the Test Fee via Demand Draft or ICICI/HDFC Deposit Slip
- Download the application form from www.ieltsidpindia.com, or you can collect it from your nearest IDP branch office or Input Node.
- Complete the application form.
- Submit the signed Terms & Conditions document, ensuring you read it thoroughly before submission.
- Include a photocopy of your passport (first and last pages) and any observation pages, if applicable.
- Attach the Demand Draft for your test fee, made out to “IDP Education India Private Limited, payable at New Delhi.” This should be drawn from any bank listed in the approved banks list found in the Terms & Conditions document. Alternatively, if you are depositing cash at an ICICI bank branch, include the original customer copy of the ICICI deposit slip.
- Send the completed application form along with all required documents and the test fee to:
